Terms and Conditions:

As a service to the community, all Masjids, community centers, cultural organizations, MSA’s and any Islamic non profit organizations can publish their upcoming and recurring events for free. Events include but not limited to: * Halaqas * Classes (Islamic studies, Arabic, Tajweed, Fiqh, etc) * Socials * Month long events for Ramadan * Eid celebrations * Events for children (highly encouraged) * Fund raisers * Guest Imams and/or Guest speakers If you are an Imam, secretary, president or have an executive position in your organization and would like to let the community know of any and all events you are hosting, there is no charge to do so. We do this in hopes that Muslim organizations will be able to gain more participation from the community. If you hear of an event being planned, you can publish it with us as long as; it is either public knowledge or you have express permission to announce it. You must provide your contact information (email address and/or phone number). You must be over the age of 18 to publish an event with us, or have parental or guardian consent. Please note that by publishing your event with us that you are thereby inviting the entire Muslim Community of Central Ohio to participate, as this newsletter intends to reach the whole Muslim audience. If your event is exclusive to a particular ethnic group/race/cultural group/ or any group that makes up a part of the Muslim Community we kindly ask that you publish your event exclusively through other means as this publication is not exclusive to any group. This is different than having an event where the majority of the language spoken is different from English. For example; if your organization is hosting an event and the majority language spoken at the event is not English, you are welcome to publish the event as long as you note that the majority language is not English. As a further courtesy please provide a translator if at all possible, so guests will feel most welcomed. While Ummah Café cannot be fully responsible for content submitted on the events calender, we do not intend on publishing any events that are false. Please make sure that all information submitted is current and accurate. Any event not adhered to the guidelines, that are submitted for publication either on our website or in print issues, will be immediately removed and the submitter will be contacted. If an event happens to be canceled or postponed please make sure to alert us so we can make any changes necessary. We do not intend to mislead anyone and appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide the correct information.
